Supervision

Mark and Vanessa are Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisors providing supervision for Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (formerly Interns). They have been Supervisors since 2011. Their approach to the supervision process is Transformative in nature and design. They enthusiastically embrace the challenges associated with the supervisory process and find great professional satisfaction working to support and mentor LPC Associates.

They have adopted the definition of Transformative Supervision as a rich, developmental relationship that is characterized by increasing relational reciprocity, a greater range of career and psychosocial mentoring functions, and a strong sense of collegiality. In addition to the individual supervision sessions that are required, they create dynamic and interactive monthly group supervision sessions where Associates can benefit from the shared experiences of both Supervisors and fellow Associates.
